BOB - Baum ohne Baum

BOB was designed as a perennial take on the classic christmas tree. Commissioned by the Universitätskommunikation of the Bauhaus University Weimar, it became a dismountable, easily storable as well as beautiful sculpture, decorating the university campus.

It was build with a custom grasshopper script, which generated files for the NC-Bending machine in the Universitys Metal Workshop.
Bob consists of five parts, assembled with pins for an easy setup.
